We collect your email address and name when you sign in using your Google account (@lakeland272.org or @st.sd272.org). We also access student data (e.g., names, grades, parent emails) stored in Firestore for the purpose of managing the rewards system.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the Gmail API to send weekly student reports to parents on behalf of teachers. Your email address and profile information are used to authenticate you via Firebase Authentication. No email content is stored, and access tokens are stored in sessionStorage (cleared on tab close).

3. Data Sharing

We do not share your data with third parties. All data is used solely for the functionality of The Honorary Houses app.

4. Security

We use Firebase Authentication and Firestore security rules to protect your data. Access tokens are stored securely in sessionStorage and are not persisted.

5. Compliance with Gmail API Policies

We comply with Google’s Limited Use policy for Gmail API data. Email data is only used to send reports and is not stored or shared.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of the app constitutes acceptance.
